Built by operators, for operators
Lightspeed was born on the front lines of charitable lottery operations — where small teams do big things with limited time and resources.
Give every nonprofit team the tools that used to be reserved for enterprises.
Charitable lottery operators and nonprofit teams face the same operational demands as major corporations, but with a fraction of the staff and budget. Lightspeed was built to close that gap. Our platform handles the repetitive, time-consuming work that buries small teams, from processing thousands of customer inquiries to cleaning data and drafting campaign content, so your people can focus on what actually matters: raising more money, serving your community, and growing your program.
A world where team size doesn’t limit what you can accomplish.
We believe a three-person nonprofit team should be able to operate with the speed, consistency, and reach of an organization ten times its size. Not by working longer hours or stretching people thinner, but by having AI tools purpose-built for their industry. Tools that understand the language of charitable gaming, that learn your organization’s voice over time, and that turn operational bottlenecks into automated workflows. Lightspeed is building toward that future, one feature at a time.
As Director of Canada’s largest hospital 50/50 lottery program, one that has generated over $180 million in total revenue to support healthcare in Northwestern Ontario, Torin knows firsthand what it takes to run high-stakes operations with a small team.
Running a lottery at that scale meant relentless pressure on every front. Thousands of customer inquiries flooded in during each draw cycle. Marketing demands were constant and unforgiving. Raw data required hours of manual processing before it could be useful, and contact lists had to be painstakingly cleaned and formatted ahead of every campaign. The workload was unsustainable, and the off-the-shelf AI tools available at the time simply didn’t understand the nuances of charitable gaming.
So Torin built Lightspeed. Drawing on years of hands-on experience in nonprofit lottery operations, he designed a platform trained on tens of thousands of real-world customer interactions, marketing campaigns, and operational scenarios. The result is an AI toolkit that doesn’t just generate generic responses. It genuinely understands the work. It learns your organization’s voice, adapts to your workflows, and gets smarter every time you use it. Where other tools offer surface-level automation, Lightspeed delivers contextual intelligence built from the ground up for the charitable lottery industry.
Lightspeed exists because Torin lived the problem. Every feature was shaped by the day-to-day reality of doing more with less, and by the belief that small nonprofit teams deserve tools just as powerful as the ones Fortune 500 companies take for granted. This isn’t software built by developers guessing at what nonprofits need. It was built by someone who sat in the chair, handled the tickets, answered the calls, and refused to accept that “good enough” was the best his team could get.
What we believe
The principles that guide every feature we build and every decision we make.
Privacy First
Your data is never used to train AI models. Every organization’s knowledge base is isolated, encrypted, and fully under their control.
Built for Small Teams
Every feature is designed for teams of 1–10 people who wear multiple hats. No enterprise bloat, no features you’ll never use.
Radically Simple
If it needs a training manual, we haven’t finished building it. Lightspeed should feel intuitive from the first click — no prompt engineering required.
Gets Smarter Over Time
Every correction, every piece of feedback, every knowledge base entry makes Lightspeed more accurate. It compounds intelligence instead of losing it.
